  • I for one am totally disgusted with the Russians and the Chinese vetoing a UN resolution against Assad. Shame on them. People talk about how the 21st century will be a Chinese century. It won't happen since they are afraid of a leadership role on the world stage.

  • I think that one of the biggest causes of the drop in homicides is the fact that law enforcement is more efficient than ever at catching the killers with the advent of DNA testing. Plus, they either get the death penalty or go away for a long time.

  • I doubt that this program will work. Homeless people are homeless for a reason. Their families are unwilling to support drug addicts, alcoholics, people with mental issues, PTSD, etc. Not always but they generally come from broken homes. They have nowhere to go but where they are.

  • We need to keep our eye on the bigger picture here. The only reason the drone program has achieved some degree of success is because intelligence on the ground in Pakistan (CIA + Pakistan) has given the time and location of terrorist targets.
